Well, our stretch of nice weather has finally run out, and today we’ve got dreary skies with temperatures in the upper 40s across the state, accompanied by rain and drizzle of various intensities.
Rain moves back into the state for Wednesday and Wednesday evening, but this time in the form of some scattered showers, which although will be somewhat widespread in coverage look to be very low intensity. Clouds will build throughout the day though as this weak system comes through, and therefore temps will be capped a bit, with highs around 60 across the state. Showers will persist into Wednesday evening before dissipating by daybreak Thursday.
Here’s the daily forecast:
Tuesday: Scattered showers early, then clearing and becoming sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Chance of precipitation is 30%
Wednesday: Clouds building, with showers likely in the afternoon/evening hours. Highs around 60. Chance of precipitation is 60%
Thursday: Clearing, then becoming mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 50s. Chance of precipitation is 20%
Friday-Sunday: Mostly sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
We’ll have another update later in the week that will wrapup the winter season, look back at our winter forecast and evaluate it, and give you a more detailed weekend forecast, but until then, have a wonderful day and thank you for reading SCW!
