It has been a marvelous weekend here in Connecticut. Both the conditions and temperatures were great, with warm and sunny days along with clear and crisp nights. The week ahead, unfortunately, is looking unsettled, as we see multiple waves of unsettled weather along much of the east coast.
It's good to be back after a much needed vacation so let's dive right in!

Monday-Tuesday
The start to the week is unsettled as our first two waves of unsettled weather arrive. Tomorrow doesn't look like a washout during the daylight hours. We should see seasonable temperatures in the 70s, but clouds will increase over the course of the day with rain showers beginning in earnest during the mid-afternoon hours. Rain will be heavy at times during the evening and overnight hours, with a chance of thunderstorms and more rain moving in on Tuesday.
Tuesday looks to be slightly cooler with highs in the lower 70s. Much of the rain will be spotty, particularly in the morning hours, so I do not expect a washout on this day either.

Once again, rain looks to be heavy at times as an area of low pressure develops and rides the coast. The guidance is a bit split on Friday, and whether we get another wave to bring rain showers. For now, I will introduce rain chances for Friday but no washout is expected.
